Kreator: behind-the-scenes footage from the filming of the video “Hate über Alles”

German thrash metal veterans CREATOR released behind-the-scenes footage from the making of the music video for “Hate Über Alles”, the title track from the band’s fifteenth studio album. Check it out below.

“Hate Über Alles” will be available on June 3 via Nuclear explosion. The sequel to 2017 “Gods of Violence” was recorded at Hansa Tonstudio in Berlin, Germany. Leading the sessions was Arthur Rizewho has worked with CAVALERA PLOT, CODE AMBER, POWER TRIGGER and SOULFLYamong others.

CREATOR leader Thousand Petrozza comments: ““Hate Über Alles” reflects the times in which we live. Everything is really loud and aggressive. Our way of communicating has changed thanks to social networks. This causes a lot of imbalance. The world is in a state of disrepair. Life isn’t harmonic right now, it’s disharmonic…that’s where I wanted to go with the title.”

Last year, Petrozza told the official Metalitalia.com podcast in Italy about the musical direction of the band’s new album: “It’s definitely different. It’s hard for me to describe, but I think it’s even more thrashy. It has a lot of melody, and it has a lot of traditional parts, and it has a lot of ingredients from the last four or five albums. But it also has some very old-school moments. I think that’s definitely the next step.”

“Hate Über Alles” will mark KREATOR’s debut album with bassist Frederic Leclercqwho joined the group in 2019.

In September 2020, CREATOR guitarist Sami Yli-Sirniö described the sessions for the band’s new album on Italian band Poisoned Rock as “very fun”, adding that the “vibe” in the band “is great. And the general vibe and atmosphere is very good”, did he declare. “[These are] creative moments for CREATOR right now.”

In March 2020, CREATOR surprise-released a new single, “666 – World Divided”. The song was produced by Andy Snap and Marcus Ganter and was recorded at Hansa Tonstudios.

The clip of “666 – World Divided” was created under the direction of Jörn Heitmannwho was responsible for the music videos of “Radio” and “Auslander” through RAMMSTEIN.

CREATOR played his first gig with Leclercq in October 2019 in Santiago, Chile.

before joining CREATOR, Leclercq rose to fame with UK-based extreme power metallers DRAGON FORCE for whom he served as bass from 2005 to August 2019.
